Summer is here, and Willington on the Way is full of fresh energy and community spirit!

We’re excited to announce new partnerships with:
 Savannah Valley Train Trails
 McCormick Garden Club
 John De La Howe Governor's School Foundation

Together, we’re working to boost community engagement, improve communication, and support McCormick County’s future.

Did you know? The Savannah Valley Train Trails now use our Willington Gazebo as a featured stop for hikers!

Call for Volunteers!

Help us bring Willington’s history to life.

We’re looking for friendly volunteers at the Willington History Center. Duties include greeting guests and giving a short introduction to our town’s story.

Just 2 days a month, 4 hours per day
No experience needed—just a love for history and community!

Brent recently moved to Willington with his wife after retiring from the U.S. Coast Guard. He then earned a degree in library science and brings valuable skills—and youthful energy—to our team.

Bonus: He has a truck and he’s not afraid to use it!
We’re lucky to have him—thanks for joining us, Brent!

Geraldine Ware Honored!

We are proud to celebrate Geraldine Ware, who was recently inducted into the Hall of Fame Wall at the South Carolina Governor’s School for Agriculture at John De La Howe for her outstanding service in education.
